Sexual Risk Avoidance Education Program (SRAE)

The purpose of the GDSRAE Program is to fund projects to implement sexual risk avoidance education that teach participants how to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity. The services are targeted to participants that reside in areas with high rates of teen births and/or are at greatest risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The goals of GDSRAE are to empower participants to make healthy decisions, and provide tools and resources to prevent pregnancy, STIs, and youth engagement in other risky behaviors.

Title V Competitive Sexual Risk Avoidance Education

The purpose of the Title V Competitive SRAE Program is to fund projects to implement education exclusively on sexual risk avoidance that teaches youth participants to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity. Eligible applicants are expected to submit plans for the implementation of sexual risk avoidance education that normalizes the optimal health behavior of avoiding non-marital sexual activity.

Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP)

The purpose of this program is to support projects that educate youth between 10 and 19 years of age and pregnant and parenting youth under age 21 on abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Personal Responsibility Education Program Innovative Strategies (PREIS)

The purpose of the PREIS program is to build the evidence base for adolescent pregnancy prevention interventions that are effective with high risk and vulnerable youth populations and fill gaps with new promising program models.

Tribal Personal Responsibility Education Program for Teen Pregnancy Prevention

The purpose of this program is to support projects that educate American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) youth between the ages of 10 and 19, and pregnant and parenting youth under age 21, on both abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

TRIBAL PREP GRANT RESOURCE PAGE

Healthy Marriage & Relationship Education - Youth (READY4Life)

Grants will support projects that provide a broad array of healthy marriage promotion services designed to support healthy relationships and marriage, including the value of marriage in future family formation and skills-based healthy relationship and marriage education to youth in high school (grades 9-12), high-school-aged youth (ages 14-17), and/or youth in late adolescence to early adulthood (ages 18-24).

Healthy Marriage & Relationship Education - Adults (FRAMEWorks)

Grants awarded will support projects that provide a broad array of healthy marriage promotion activities and services designed to integrate skills-based healthy marriage education, along with additional services to address relationship skills and job and career advancement opportunities, for adults (age 18 and older).

Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Tier 1

The goal of this opportunity is to have a significant impact on improving the optimal health of adolescents and reducing teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) through saturation of communities with the greatest needs and disparities using a systems thinking approach to replicate effective programs with fidelity.
